Interactive
Learning Systems was founded in 1995 based on the knowledge that the basic
sciences and certain other academic subjects are best learned when a student
has the opportunity to experience interactive learning in a subject area
rather than just reading or hearing about it. Usually, this opportunity
doesn't present itself until a student sits down to take a test in the
classroom (by which time it is too late to discover some of the concepts
aren't as fully comprehended as the student had thought). Simply doing
homework problems for practice is insufficient, especially if the student
doesn't receive immediate feedback on his or her work. This is where our
interactive learning software comes into play.
Our online interactive learning professional educators
with years of classroom teaching experience develop all of our educational
software. Our interactive learning software design and curriculum development
team includes current and former faculty members from Blair
Academy, Westtown
School, Cranbrook
Schools, The Hill
School, University Liggett
School, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), the University
of Michigan.
We are fortunate to have some of the top educators in the
United States working with us. They have a great understanding of interactive
learning as well as how students learn the subject areas in which they
specialize and they have taken the time to incorporate that knowledge
and experience into our software.
